About Dr. Michael Landau

As a double board eligible medical professional, Dr. Michael Landauspecializes in the treatment of a wide number of vascular ailments, including both spider veins and larger, often painful varicose veins.

Dr. Landau and his staff are committed to providing the latest protocols available today for the effective and successful treatment of vein disorders, including many new, minimally invasive procedures, and every patient is considered on an individual basis, to ensure the program of treatment is uniquely suited to individual needs. Injection therapies, including sclerotherapy, and laser-based procedures, such as the increasingly popular endovenous laser treatment, or EVLT, are among the techniques Dr. Landau uses to make sure patients experience the least amount of downtime following treatment. And Dr. Landau is also trained in the highly specialized use of ultrasound, which is used to locate affected veins and direct treatment specifically to the target area, resulting in superior outcomes and speedier recovery.

Dr. Landau’s Training Background

    • Dr. Michael Landau graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from UCLA followed by a Medical Degree from Loyola-Stritch in Chicago, IL


    • Family Medicine internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center followed by primary and urgent care practice in Torrance, CA


    • Phlebology/Vascular Care practice began in 1991; solo practice since 1993 out of two offices in Los Angeles and Walnut, CA


    • Certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners


    • Board eligible with the American Board of Family Medicine and the American College of Phlebology
